A Book of Loyalty to Those Who Carry the Culture

After the opening of the exhibition, Prof.Dr. Kara met with his readers and analyzed the book, noted that in his book 'Bridge Persons Who Carried Ottoman Culture to the Republic', he included important cultural figures who lived in the Ottoman period but also witnessed the Republic period. Kara said, “There are people who connect the Ottoman and Republican cultures. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, I wanted to write about people who wrote their books in Ottoman Turkish, but also published these works according to the new letters during the Republic period. There are more than 50 personalities in the book. The works of these people bridge the gap and unite the culture. Our job would be very difficult if it weren't for the works of these people who can handle pens from every branch: men of letters, historians, mathematicians and dervishes. We owe them a debt of gratitude for bringing this culture to us. "This book is a book of loyalty on my part," he said.
